The new pediatric gait harnesses can be used for gait and balance therapy in both seated and standing positions. Attachments for quadruped activities allow for supported crawling. These harnesses are comfortable and designed for easy application and removal.
For the preschool age children, we suggest using the Gait Compression Harness. It is made from neoprene and secured with hook and loop enclosures. The neoprene material provides compression for postural support and come in two sizes: small, for clients who weigh 20 lbs to 40 lbs and medium, for client weights of 40lbs to 60lbs. (For larger clients, may we suggest the F.I.T. Rehab Harnesses, item numbers 117007-117009.)
