The Exer-Rider is a riding toy for children with lower extremity disabilities and poor trunk control. The Exer-Rider provides improved support for positioning and smoother riding mobility.
The Exer-Rider was adapted from the Heavy Duty Roller Racer by a pediatric physical therapist, and is appropriate for children of varying diagnoses and ages. The experience of riding an Exer-Rider provides vestibular stimulation, enhances motor planning, and promotes visual perception skills. It also facilitates upper extremity strengthening while promoting trunk rotation. It is extremely safe and has a weight limit of 200 lbs.
