Southpaw's Dual Layer mats are a great solution for those who want the best of both worlds. This mat contains the same cross-linked polyethylene foam as the tumbling mats, which is then laminated to a 1-1/8" thick polyurethane foam. This combination gives you both superior impact resistance and cushioning. This mat is great for crashing into, with the softer polyurethane foam to prevent "bottoming out". This mat can be used with either soft of the firm foam facing up, to give the user two different sensations when sitting on it.
