Our new animal weighted blankets can be used the same as our regular weighted blankets for calming or all over sensory input. The distinctive animal shapes make therapy fun for children of all ages.
Each blanket consists of an animal-specific outer cover made from durable fabrics that are pleasant to touch, and an animal-specific inner weighted liner. The inner liner is laminated with 12 evenly spaced weight pockets to provide an even distribution of weight. The liners come in either 8 pounds or 16 pounds.
Each animal’s outer cover is compatible only with the same animal’s inner liner. Each liner is intended for use inside of an outer cover, and may be surfaced washed only.
